Visitor Visa
You can apply for a short-term visitor visa if you wish to go see your family or take a short-term course while experiencing the Canadian winters. On a visiting visa, you are not permitted to work, but you are free to travel and see the nation as you want.
Only travel and pleasure are permitted on visitor visas; employment applications or employment while on a guest visa are not permitted. But there are various types of Canadian visiting visas.

- Visits from grandparents and parents (super visa)
A visiting visa allows you to travel with your family, including children, and it is issued within 27 days of the application being submitted.
